Python Job: Python Developer: Web Scraping

We are looking for a Python Developer to build functional and efficient server-side applications. Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Join our growing multinational team specializing in the development of event analysis and ticket purchasing SaaS solutions for the ticket resale industry. TickOps specializes in developing software solutions used by ticket brokers for reselling tickets for popular events in high demand.

Responsibilities

- Help design and implement functional requirements.

- Build efficient back-end features in Python.

- Integrate front-end components into applications.

- Manage testing and bug fixes.

- Prepare technical documentation.

- Coach junior team members.

- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.

Requirements

- Solid experience as Python Developer.

- Web scraping experience a must.

- Building high speed bots/scraping preferred but not required.

- Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Bottle).

- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API.

- Understanding of databases and SQL.

- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus.

- Attention to detail.

- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.

- The soft skills to work remotely. Strong individual contributor, strong communication skills.

Passion for remote work. You understand the pros and cons of working remotely.

English language skills to work as part of an international team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18,500.00 - $55,000.00 per month
